This is sponsored walk for teams and covers some 40 miles in 16 hours following the Chalkland Way. The proceeds go to “Action medical research”. Full details can be seen on their web site.
A Community Fair is being held at Aycliffe Leisure Centre on Saturday 14th May 2011.
The event, organised by the Rotary Club of Newton Aycliffe, will provide an ideal opportunity for local clubs & associations to promote themselves and “reach out” to the local community!
Aycliffe Fell Walking Club have booked a stand at the event with the intention of displaying photographs of past walks etc., plus newsworthy articles associated with the club’s long history!
Help is needed in the preparation of display materials, including the creation and production of promotional flyers that can be distributed on the day, and also in the manning of the exhibition stand, for an hour or two, during the day-long event!
If you can help in any way, whether in providing photos, producing materials or manning the stand, please let Barry Wilkinson know at the earliest opportunity!
