Osmotherley is a village and civil parish in the Hambleton hills in North Yorkshire, six miles north-east of Northallerton. The village is at the western edge of the North York Moors National Park. Osmotherley is on the route of the 110-mile Cleveland Way, one of the National Trails established by Natural England.
I had planned and mapped out 2 walks from Kepwick but in view of the narrowness of the roads in that area I have decided to omit them leaving 3 long walks from Osmotherley and 2 shorter walks from the A170.
This will hopefully help to avoid any unnecessary delays. So, other than the visit to Osmotherley, the coach will stick to A19 and A170.
