Successful Charity Walk for Alzheimer’s Society

Ian Hardcastle and Tamzin Lafford successfully completed the 13-mile trek to raise money for the Alzheimer’s Society on 22nd July – a day when the weather was mild and only slightly damp, which was a blessing considering the forecast of heavy rain!  The event was well organised, well provisioned and there was a really good-natured atmosphere.  The few hundred walkers taking part had, by the start of the event, raised over £290 000 towards the target of £300 000.  Many thanks to all you generous souls who have contributed – you are precious.  If anyone else would like to help the Alzheimer’s Society reach their goal and help more people, Ian’s JustGiving page is here and Tamzin’s is here.  They are open until mid-October.  Thank you so much!
